Whilst undertaking this work we expanded
our customer base. This included the Steel
and Cement manufacturing industries.

1992 brought about the demise of the coal
mining industry which had a huge impact on
the business. However having developed a
presence in other  industries meant that we
were able to continue despite the loss of our

Largest customer.

 Our activities within the cement manufacturing industry are wide and varied. We
  undertake work for all of the major cement manufacturers within the UK and and
  Ireland.

Initially our involvement was primarily providing  on
site maintenance and fault diaganosis services. As
our presence increased we were able to increase our
involvement in the industry. This now includes the
following:-

The design, manufacture, and installation of hydraulic
Kiln Thruster systems

The design, manufacture, and installation of hydraulically
operated Slides and Rodgates, and Dampers

The condition monitoring of hydraulic and lubrication
systems  including oil sample analysis to ISO 4406.

Five years ago we became involved with the water
Industry. This presented our greatest challenge
to date. We have been involved in several major
contracts for the provision of hydraulically
operated penstock actuators, Emergency Closure
Systems, and Rotating Bar Interceptors (RBI).

Our repair and manufacturing facility was relocated from Sheffield to Melton  
Mowbray in 2005 and is now under the stewardship of Mr.Terry Adey.
